Flanagan Papers Personal Collection PC.1315.1 5 Aug 1842 - John Davis Sheriff of Lenoir County, NC deed to Edward Patrick of same county and state - execution issued from the Lenoir County Court of Pleas and Quarter Sessions in the name of Pinkney Hardeee executor of Wayne McCoy plaintiff against John Patrick defendant for the sum of $1,087 said sum recovered by said Pinkney Hardee in said Court as on record may appear and whereas the said execution was directed and delivered to the said John Davis high Sheriff commanding him that of the goods and chattels lands and tenements of John Patrick he should cause to be made the aforesaid sum of $1,087 to satisfy the said execution with the cost thereon and said John Davis Sheriff in pursuance and by virtue of his office did seize and take into his hands and custody (no goods or chattels to be found) 201 acres of land situated in said county of Lenoir bounded as follows: foot of Mill path, John P. Dunn's line, Greene Pond hole, corner of John Patrick and Edward Patrick land, John P. Dunns line, Green Pond, Simon Parrott, Walter Dunn's line, to Washington's Ferry. Witnesses: Rich'd W.
