Lenoir County North Carolina This Deed from Wiley DUPREE and Lou DUPREE his wife, Furney DUPREE, James E. DUPREE, and Laura DUPREE his wife, Walter JACKSON and Avy Ann JACKSON his wife, W. C. DUPREE and Virginia DUPREE his wife, Bryan S.? FAULKNER and Litha FAULKNER his wife, Nathan WATSON and Bettie WATSON his wife all of the county of Lenoir parties of the first part to Evaline JONES of the County of Greene of the second part; Witnesseth that for and in consideration of the sum of one dollar to them paid by the party of the second part, the receipt whereof if hereby acknowledged the parties of the first part have bargained and sold and do hereby convey unto the party of the second part and her heirs, the following described real estate to wit: all that tract or parcel of land lying in Lenoir County on the South Side of Neuse River adjoining the lands of Henry WEST, Jesse BROADWAY, and others containing 135? Acres more or less. It being the land contracted to be conveyed by W. A. BLOUNT to F. G. DUPREE, Sr. and upon which said F. G. DUPREE, Sr. resided at the time of his death, and also the same land which Jesse F. DUPREE, Jr. portended? To convey to Henry WEST for a now particular description of which reference is hereby had to said agreement to convey from W. A. BLOUNT to F. G. DUPREE, Sr. and said portended conveyance from Jesse F. DUPREE, Jr. to Henry WEST to have and to hold the person before described to tract of land to the party of the second part and her heirs to her and their own use and behoof in fee simple forever. In witness whereof the parties of the first part have hereunto set their hands and affixed their seals this the 26th day of Sept. 1879.
