City of Kinston to W.C. DUPREE, Lot in Maplewood Cemetery

City of Kinston
This Deed made the 20th day of Oct. 1910.
Witnesseth: That the City of Kinston, in the State of North Carolina in 
consideration of thirty Dollars receipt of which is hereby acknowledged, has 
bargained and sold and by these presents does bargain, sell and convey to Wm. C. 
DUPREE of Lenoir County and State of North Carolina, and his heirs a certain lot 
or parcel of land situated within the corporate limits of said town and described 
as follows: One lot of land, south half of No. 11, Division East, end Section, of 
Maplewood Cemetery. To have and to hold said lot of land to the said Wm. C. 
DUPREE his heirs and assigns. In testimony where of said City of Kinston has 
caused this Deed to be duly executed by its Mayor and attested by its Clerk and 
the Seal of the municipality to be hereunto duly affixed the day and year first 
above written.

This 28th day of December 1910 personally came before me W. B. COLEMAN who being 
duly sworn says that he knows the common seal of the City of Kinston and is 
acquainted with W. D. LAROQUE, Jr. who is the Mayor of said City and that he the 
said W. B. COLEMAN is the clerk of the said city, and saw the said Mayor sign the 
foregoing instrument and saw the said common seal of said City affixed to said
