Carolina Lenoir County I, Frederick JONES, Entry Office to Claims for Lands in the County aforesaid, To the Surveyor of said County Greeting, You whereby Requested as soon as may be to Lay off a Certain tract or Parcel of land for Daniel HINES, Containing One Hundred acres lying on Trotters Creek adjoining of his own and Needham WHITFIELDS lines as - N 614 Poles, Entered 13th August An. Dom. 1818 Observing the directions of Act of Assembly in Luck? Case made & provided for running out lands & Given under my hand & seal this 20th Jany. 1819. Fred. JONES, E. Taker Dan’l. HINES 100 acres Aug. 13th, 1818 Lenoir County No. 163 dated 22nd Dec. 1819. G. M. O. — State North Carolina Lenoir County By virtue of a Warrant no. 614 intend 13th Aug 1878. I have surveyed for Daniel HINES a tract of Land containing Forty five acres lying & being in the County aforesaid, bounded as follows: On the waters of Trotters Creek, adjoining the lands of Needham WHITFIELD and his own lands & Thomas ROUSE’S. Beginning at a Post Oak his own Needham WHITIFIELD & PIPKIN’S corner, & runs with his own line South fifty two East Seventy poles to a pine his own corner then with another of his lines South fifty eight East one hundred & twenty poles to a pine his own corner in ROUSE’S line, then with ROUSE’S line N thirty seven East twenty four poles to a red oak, Needham WHITFIELD’S corner then to the beginning.
