Rountrees), to J. C. Washington's line, to J. R. Phillips line (formerly F. M. Larouque's (sic) line – 113 & ¾ acres – being land conveyed to said Charles C. Phillips by John Tull and wife Winnie R. Tull dated 18 December 1869 – sum of $500 plus interest at the rate of 8% on a note bearing date 1 August 1879 and due 1 Jan 1880 – if not paid, the property to be sold at the Courthouse to the highest bidder C.
