LANGSTON to Bettie JONES, Lenoir Co.,N.C.-6 Nov. 1894 (Page 1) This deed made this Nov. 6th A.D. 1894 by R.L. LANGSTON of Lenoir County & State of North Carolina of the first part & Bettie JONES wife of B.F. JONES of Lenoir County & State of North Carolina of the second part witnesseth. That R.L. LANGSTON party of the first part in consideration of one hundred & thirteen & 30 1/3/100 dollars to him paid by party of the second part the receipt of which is hereby acknowledged has bargained and sold & by these presents do bargain & sell & convey to said Bettie JONES wife of B.F. JONES a certain tract or parcel of land situated in ---- Township County of Lenoir, State of North Carolina adjoining the lands of B.F. WIGGINS & others bounded as follows- Beginning at a large pine a corner tree in the division of the Jacob LANGSTON land & runs with said division line to a tree on the head ditch then with the head ditch to a small sweet gum, then with the B.F. WIGGINS line to the beginning containing eleven & one third acres more or less. To have & to hold the aforesaid tract or parcel of land & all privileges & appurtenances thereto belonging to the said Bettie JONES wife of B.F. JONES her heirs & assigns to their only use & behoof forever. And the said R.T. LANGSTON covenant that he is seized of said premises in for & has a right to convey the same in fee simple.
