LANGSTON-22 January 1872 (no county listed, apparently Lenoir) Commencing at a pine stump in the old County line and runs N 85 1/4 E 196 poles to a stake in DUNN'S line then with his line N 32 poles to the fork of the Big Branch then with the Branch and a ditch which makes in to it and a ditch from the woods S 71 W and through the woods to the back line the same course of the ditch S 71 W 191 poles the whole length of the line corners at a stake then S 124 poles to a stake near a Holly Bush the Judge SMITH'S corner then to beginning containing 236 Acres more or less.
