Amos WILLIAMSON of Cumberland Co., NC to John A. PARROTT of Lenoir Co., NC

This Indenture made this 22nd day of Sept. A.D. 1858 between Amos WILLIAMSON of the
County of Cumberland & State of North Carolina of the one part and John A. PARROTT
of the County of Lenoir & State aforesaid of the other part. Witnesseth that the
said Amos WILLIAMSON doth for and in consideration of the sum of one hundred & fifty
five dollars to him in hand paid by the said John A. PARROTT the receipt whereof is
hereby acknowledged hath bargained and sold — enfeoffed and conveyed and confirmed
unto the said John A. PARROTT his heirs Executors Admrs and assigns two town lots
lying and being in the County of Carteret & State of North Carolina & in Carolina
City on the corner of Adams & Morehead Streets said lots bing known in the plan of
said Carolina City as lot No. one hundred & twenty (120) & fifty seven (57) said
lots being Eight feet square being the same part? and at the sale by J. E. WHITLEY
and conveyed by him to the said Amos WILLIAMSON to have and to hold unto him the
said John A. PARROTT his heirs, Executors Administrators and assigns for ever and
the said Amos WILLIAMSON doth for himself, his heirs, Executors and Administrators
Covenant and agree to and with the said John A. PARROTT his heirs, Executors,
Administrators that he will covenant and forever defend the title of the aforesaid
lots in Carolina City as above described to him the said John A. PARROTT his heirs,
Executores, Administrators and assigns for ever. In Witness whereof the said Amos
WILLIAMSON hath hereunto set his hand & affixed his Seal the day & date first above
written.

The foregoing deed of bargain and Sale from Amos WILLIAMSON to John A. PARROTT was
duly proved before me, E. J. WARREN, one of the Judges of the Superior Court of Law
and Courts of Equity for said State by the Oath of Richard W. KING, one of the
subscribing witnesses thereto: 

Let the said deed and this Certificate be Registered.
