Maury County, March the 22 Day
Dear Sir, I under stand that my letter that I rote to you you have never 
received and I wright to you a gaine to bee per tickler to notice who it is and 
make them bring to light who he or they and where tay get them from for I 
deClare that I have neaver traded nor Barganed them to No body and and I want 
you to Collect the money for me and send teme as soon as you can and I will 
thank - when the same and this letter ---- bee good to you for the recept? you 
gave me  I sent them to you in a letter But I understand that you have never 
rec'd them that makes me right to you a gane condeming the note & Rec't? that I 
had against Isaac Grimes ----- and if Mr. Grimes pays you the money Do I want 
you to give him a recept in my name and this letter will be good for the other 
papers that has got -------------- By the way

ever curency? against you I have often and ----- at present but remaining your 
friend untill Death arguing? inform you an and all that ------ vary necessary --

and inquire of them if ever any of the Dayaly? have? ever to any letter out of
