Mason http://www.genrecords.net/emailregistry/vols/00016.html#0003873 February 16, 2014, 4:32 pm Commonwealth of Kentucky Muhlenberg County July County Court 1833 On the motion of Frederick Graddy and it appearing to the Satisfaction of the Court from the Testimony of Ackes Ellison and John Stroud (both of whom are credible witnesses-that the said Frederick is the son & only Heir of William Graddy now deceased that the said Frederick Graddy Jr. was born in this county where the said William his father in his lifetime resided for some years from whence he removed to the State of Indiana or Illinois where he died some years since they also state that they were acquainted with the said William Graddy when he resided in Duplin County N Carolina previous to his moving to the western country that they then believed & still believe that the said William Graddy father of the said Frederick Graddy, Jr was the son of and one of the Heirs of Frederick Graddy, Sr late of said County of Duplin and State of N Carolina also deceased Which is ordered to be certified accordingly In Testimony where of I, Charles F. Wing Clerk of County Court for the County aforesaid have hereunto set my hand and affixed the seal of said County this 30th day of August 1833 Ch. F. Wing Kentucky Muchlenberg County Court Representing Justices of the County Court for said county I certify that the attestation of Charles F. Wing clerk of said court in an due form of law Given under my hand this 30th day of Aug. 1833 James Irvin Eliza sends her respects to Mrs. Grady and family, and would like for her to be a neighbor N.B.?
