WINNIE UZZLE & NANCY COTTON TO UNNAMED COUSIN, CA. 1855

           Goldsboro November the
Dear Cousin
     I would be very glad 
to hear from you. You promised 
me you would come to school here. 
I want you to come to see me. 
I want to hear from Cousin Ben
Sutton. I want to go home very 
bad indeed. I am going home,
once more before the session is up. 
The session will be up in 6 weeks 
and the concert the day before [cross out]
Christmas. I want to see Echobud. I want to 
see Miss Herring. Give all my love 
to all the rest of the girls and 
Annie Sutton and Joe Herring. 
Please write to me as soon as you 
get this. Your affectionate cousin 
until death.
