KORNEGAY TO WHITFIELD GRADY Mr. Whitfield Grady Duplin November 10th 1847 D Sir This will inform you that my business is such that I can not attend your Meeting. I should like very much to attend but I have to measure corn on Saturday and I have to be back at my deposits on Sunday morning. My school will be up at this place in about four weeks and then I should like to take a school somewhere and if you could make me one in your neighborhood I should feel willing to take it. I wish you would ascertain what could be done about making a school at Woodinton and let me know the first opportunity. I expect to attend your December meeting if I should not have to be engaged in hunting a situation. If there is any chance of getting the school I will come down and see. We are all well at present. Respectfully yours, Henry R, Kornegay Mr. Whitfield Grady Lenoir Co, NC END OF DOCUMENT File at: http://files.usgwarchives.net/nc/lenoir/history/letters/henrykko82ms.txt This file has been created by a form at http://www.poppet.org/ncfiles/ File size: 1.5 Kb
