Hallsville, Duplin Co, NC Mr. Whitfield Grady Sir you have sent to me again for money and a nother not to sine. Sir I ant a going to flater you at all; I donot think Sir a corden to law that I owe you every thing. Because this property that I am paying you Rent on I donot consider is yours, and there fore I donot feel like paying you rent any longer. Nor I ant a going to do it rented you can get it by law and I donot think you can do that a cording to the present law we now live under. So if you think you can get it or disperses me of the place with in your self you moust go a head, for I donot consider the property that belongs to your wife is yours so thear four I aint going to pay you enly mour rent.
