Rec'd of Grady Outlaw Three Dollars &
eighty six cents being the amount of Taxes due
on Two hundred & fifteen acres of Land lying
in Duplin County & listed by Henry Grady
which was duly advertised & Sold for the Tax due
thereof according to law & was bid of by said
Outlaw at Two hundred & fourteen acres to
pay the tax due for the year 1840
Cost of advertising $1.00
