GRADY RECEIPT FOR BRANDY

Mr. Whitfield Grady
Lenoir co, NC

August 54 1868

Then I commenced distilling Apple and Peach Brandy and finished the 8th day of 
September 1868.  And I distilled the following lots for James Herring and Hogan 
Smith.
Their part                                                  7 gallons
For Elisha Grady one lot  his part                         18 gallons
And one lot for Elisha Grady & J. R. Grady  their part      5 gallons
For William Griffin  his part                               6 gallons
For William Becton  his part                                7 gallons
For Haywood Waller  his part                               18 gallons
For Grady Outlaw & his sister Elizabeth Outlaw  their part  6 gallons
For James Davis & J. R. ?? Grady  their part                2 gallons
                                                           69 gallons

I distilled for myself including                           52 gallons
