Carolina Agreed to hold Conference four times a year in every year & oftener of thought necessary which conference shall have power to receive to deal with & excommunicate members to send & receive help from sister church and to do any other Business that may come before them as a Church observing the following Articles as their rules of Decorum viz: Art 1st: Conference shall be opened by praise and prayer by the Moderator or some person on whom he may call whose duty it shall be to invite Brothers in whom regular and --- and orderly Baptist to seat Among us Also to keep good order during the sitting of conference. Art 2nd: A door shall be opened for the reception of members which shall be ---- ---------------------------------------------------------- appointment of Brethern to Office Art 3rd:  The list of members shall be called & absentees noted Whose duty it shall be When next in conference to render a Voluntary excuse for past absence. Art 4th: Letters in Conference shall be acquired after Art 5th: The State of the church shall be inquired into then other Business of the Church proceeded to  Art 6th: All matters  brought before the Conference by motion made & seconded shall be entitled to debates there shall but one member speak at a time and not more than thereinto matter or debate without leave of the conference, without rising it shall be no speech. Art 7th: When a matter is debated it shall be left to votes and when votes are taken the menority shall be submitted to the minority. Art 8th: When one member wounds another and fellowship cannot be had Gospel order shall be no vain Talking or Laughing or Reflecting memories in the time of Conference but a mutual striving for each others good and benefit.
