N.C. Lenoir County, Pleasant Grove
To our Sister Church at Limestone, Duplin County Brother Moderator and 
brethering in the Lord we in brace the opertunity of addressing you by deion? as 
a delegating messenger from Pleasant Grove church we can in form you that our 
title Churches in full felloship love and reunion with each other and we thank 
the Ruler of Heaven that these blessing is bestowed on us we are rather 
destitute of Preaching with us at first we have a considerable controversing 
with the Free Will Baptist on the account of close communion between feelo 
Justified inpersuing that corse of desiplin our yearly meeting will begin Friday 
before the 3rd Sunday in August next and we invite to attend us with your 
delegated messengers and keep up the correspondence with us we can inform you 
that we had the opportunity of having the gospel preached in us the other day by 
our beloved brother Wm. Dupree from Wake County and he will attend us again 
Wednesday June the 3rd and at Prospect Thursday the 4th we have nothing more at 
present to inform you dear brother we invite you to pray for us that the Lord 
may grant a blessing and  cause a revival of true religion to spring up with us 
at the righteous availith in which the above was done in our conference at our 
May Quarterly Meeting 1846
