PLEASANT GROVE - 1847

Conference 4th day

Dear Brethren composing the Pleasant Grove Church, By the kind Mercy of our 
Almighty Father we have been permitted to Assemble ourselves together & to bless 
God for that grace which we hope has been given us through the medium of Christ 
Jesus the Lord, which counsels us to sit together in heavenly places in Christ 
Jesus. Notwithstanding that we believe we have the ---rdinars of the love of God 
existing in our --- body, yet (as is common to all Churches at ---) we have some 
points of difficulty now before us, but we hope that we shall dispose of them in 
a manner calculated to give satisfaction to all.  We have regular preaching and 
at time we have some quite interesting revivals, though no special revivals, but 
we hope to continue praying until God may pour out a blessing upon us. We wish 
to continue a correspondence with you hoping that the brethren of your church 
will visit us as often as is convenient. We further hope that you will remember 
us in your prayer at a Throne of Grace that we may thereby have the prayers of 
the people of God in our behalf. Farewell for the puraste. May heaven protect 
you, be Jesus your guide and may we all meet in Heaven. Amen
