Company C, 27th Regiment NC Troops
Resided in Lenoir County where he enlisted on April 17, 1861. Reported on 
detail as a shoemaker from April, 1864, through February, 1865. Took the Oath 
of Allegiance at Richmond, Virginia, April 11, 1865.
