Barrow, Jesse H., Private
Company C, 27th Regiment NC Troops
Resided in Lenoir County where he enlisted at age 29, April 25, 1861. Wounded 
in the right elbow at Bristoe Station, Virginia, October 14, 1863. Reported 
absent wounded through December, 1864. Returned to duty in January-February, 
1865, but was retired to the Invalid Corps on March 6, 1865, by reason of 
disability.
