Bell, Joshua H., Sergeant
Company C, 27 Regiment NC Troops
Resided in Lenoir County where he enlisted at age 25, April 17, 1861. Mustered 
in as Private and was promoted to Corporal on May 1, 1861. Promoted to Sergant 
in March-April, 1862. Reappointed Sergeant on September 1, 1862. Present or 
accounted for until killed "in Virginia" in June, 1864.
