Hill, Nathan B., Jr., Sergeant
Company C, 27th Regiment NC Troops
Born in Lenoir County where he resided as a farmer prior to enlisting in 
Lenoir County on April 25, 1861. Mustered in as Private and was promoted to 
Sergeant on September 1, 1862. Died on October 22, 1862. Place and cause of 
death not reported. [Death records give his age as 21.]
