Kennedy, John T., Private
Company C, 27th Regiment NC Troops
Born in Lenoir County and was by occupation a farmer prior to enlisting in 
Lenoir County on April 17, 1861. Present or accounted for until he died at 
Camp Mangum on August 29, 1861, of "typhoid fever." Death records give his age 
as 21.
