Kennedy, Robert H., Private
Company C, 27th Regiment NC Troops
Resided in Lenoir County where he enlisted at age 21, April 17, 1861. Wounded 
in the left thigh at Bristoe Station, Virginia, October 14, 1863. Left leg 
amputated at the thigh. Reported absent wounded until August 17, 1864, when he 
was retired to the Invalid Corps.
