Sutton, Benjamin F., Corporal
Company C, 27th Regiment N.C. Troops
Resided in Lenoir County where he enlisted at age 22, April 17, 1861. Mustered 
in as Private and was promoted to Corporal on May 1, 1861. Present or 
accounted for until discharged on or about October 3, 1861, after providing 
Private George A. Hinson as a substitute.
