Sutton, Josiah, Sergeant
Company C, 27th Regiment N.C. Troops
Born in Lenoir County where he resided as a farmer prior to enlisting at age 
26, April 17, 1861. Mustered in as Private and was promoted to Sergeant on 
January 23, 1865. Present or accounted for through February, 1865.
