Company C, 27th Regiment N.C. Troops
Enlisted in Lenoir County on April 17, 1861. Present or accounted for until 
discharged on July 17, 1862, by reason of being overage. Later served in 
Company D, 1st Battalion N.C. Local Defense Troops.
