Company C, 27th Regiment N.C. Troops
Born in Lenoir County where he resided prior to enlisting in Lenoir County at 
age 30, April 17, 1861. Present or accounted for until he died in hospital at 
Richmond, Virginia, December 18, 1862, of "diarrhoea chron[ic]."
