An Institution for Feeble-Minded Children
 
Mr. Anthony Davis has recently died and left his estate worth $20,000 to the 
county of Lenoir. Mr. J.H. Mills, of the Thomasville Orphanage, suggests that 
it be appropriated to the erection of a school for children of feeble mind, 
and that it be located on the Desmond farm, near the grave of Gov. Caswell. 
The suggestion strikes me as eminently wise.
