March 18, 1847   Charlotte Journal March 18, 1847
  The Newbernian states that the gentleman whose marriage and death on the 
same day are related in the following notices was formerly a highly 
respectable citizen of Lenoir County in this State.
  "Married, in Pensacola, Fla., at 7 o'clock a. m., on the 11th day of 
November, 1846, MORTIMER BRIGHT ESQ., to MISS REBECCA SIMPSON.
  "And died, in Pensacola, on the same day, at half past 7 p.m., MORTIMER 
BRIGHT, ESQ., aged 42 years and five months."
