Thurs., Nov. 8,  1860  North Carolina Argus November 1860
   HIGH PRICE -- A tract of land (5,000 acres) in Lenoir County, belonging to 
the estate of the late JAMES M. HARPER, was sold in Kinston, says the 
Advocate, on the 13th ult., at $23,000 -- $47.20 per acre, and another tract 
was recently bought by the Atlantic and North Carolina Railroad at $50. So 
much for railroads.
