LENA BAYNE BLAND. Mrs. Lena Bayne Bland, 83, wife of Harry M. Bland of 208 
West Highland Avenue, died Friday afternoon.  Funeral services will be held 
from Edwards Funeral Home Chapel at 11 a.m. Monday with Rev. Gordon Conklin of 
First Baptist Church officiating.  Interment will follow in Westview Cemetery.

Survivors include her husband; one daughter, Mrs. Jane Bland Preston of 
Colorado Springs, Colo.; two brothers, R. E. Bayne of Goldsboro and R. G. 
Bayne of High Point; one granddaughter; and one great-grandchild.
