MARY ELIZABETH COWARD, consort of JOHN H. COWARD, and daughter of the late WINDSOR DIXON of Greene County, her age was thirty one years seven months and three days. At the age of seventeen she was baptised by ELDER BENJAMIN PARROT and united herself with the Church of Christ at Hookerton, Greene County, and remained a consistent member of that Church up to the time of her death, and by her quiet and peaceful walk as a Christian, she left testimony that she has gone from the world of pain to a Heaven of rest. MRS. COWARD has left a devoted husband and six children to mourn her loss; and a loss indeed it is to them.
