DIXON EARLY HOUR OF MORNING David L. Dixon, 41, died in a hospital at 1 am today from an attack of uremic poisoning suffered between 10 and 11 am yesterday. He did not recover consciousness. Mr. Dixon was a member of one of the most prominent families in the city and was known to hundreds. He was the proprietor of a filling station in the northwestern part of the city. He was a popular figure. He is survived by a widow, three children, David, Jr. 11, Martha Hardy, 9, and Waite Hines, 6; his stepmother, Mrs. D. H. Dixon; one sister, Mrs. Robert H. Rouse, and one brother, William T. Dixon. The funeral will be held from St. Mary's Episcopal Church at 11 am tomorrow, the Rev. Dr. Bartholomew F. Huske, rector of St. Mary's, officiating, and burial will be in Maplewood Cemetery. Wood's Funeral Home will be in charge. Mr. Dixon was a son of the late D. V. Dixon and a son-in-law of Mr. and Mrs. W. T. Hines. Many relatives reside in the city and section.
