   RICHARD JONES died at his residence in Lenoir last Friday at the advanced 
age of 93 years. He was born on the 20th of January, 1766. He has lived a 
good, peaceable, quiet, unpretending life and has devoted himself to home and 
family. -- Kinston American Advocate
