MEWBORN (Lelia Loops) Kinston Free Press - 2 September 1933 MRS. T. W. MEWBORN WILL BE BURIED AT FOUR O'CLOCK TODAY The funeral of Mrs. Thomas W. Mewborn, 64, who died yesterday at her home on East Blount Street, will be held at 4 o'clock this afternoon from St. Mary's Episcopal Church, Rev. B. F. Huske, rector will officiate. Burial will be in Maplewood Cemetery. Mrs. Mewborn succumbed to heart trouble. She had an attack some days ago and another Tuesday. Pallbearers will be J. C. Raberry, Robert H. Rouse, B. B. Jones, Staton Suggs, C. E. Raynor, F C. Dunn, H. H. McCoy, D. F. Wooten and T. W. Heath. She is survived by her husband, a daughter, Mrs. O. G. Rucker, a brother, Charles Loops of Washington, D. C., and a sister, Mrs. W. D. Suggs. Mrs. Mewborn was a member of a well-known family.
