NOBLES 1820-1903 Attached to the Noble/Smith Bible NOTE: Darlene Whitfield send these dates for John Kinsey Nobles - 30 Aug 1820 - 7 Jan 1903 DEATH OF JOHN K. NOBLES This brother aged about eighty-five years, passed to the higher life a few months since, at his residence near Deep Run, Duplin county, North Carolina. Year ago he united with the Universalist church at Woodington and generally attended services there though ten miles off. The writer had repeatedly shared the hospitalities of this noble good man and I feel sad to think I shall no more see him in the flesh. He was a solid, upright man, and loved the doctrine of the final triumph of good over evil. When I bade this venerable brother farewell at the Woodington, North Carolina Conference in 1901, I felt that I should no more see him in the flesh. Like a shock of corn fully ripe, he has been gathered into the great garner above. "Well done good and faithful servant." May the faith which sustained and cheered him, be the legacy of the loved ones left behind. J. C. Burruss
