Charlotte Observer, July 21, 1922
KINSTON, July 20. - The funeral of Miss Allie Sutton was held at the residence 
of the decendent in the Buckleberry section yesterday afternoon.  Miss Sutton 
was prominently realted in this section.  The young woman died in a hospital 
here Tuesday night.  She had been brought to Kinston for treatment for 
appendicitis.  Rev. R. E. Pittman, of LaGrange, officiated at the funeral and 
burial services.
