Charity GOODMAN, wife of Henry GOODMAN, dec’d.
10 Jan 1796

Pursuant to Warrant No.10— & dated  10th January 1796 surveyed for Charity 
GOODMAN fifty acres land lying in Lenoir County on S. side Neuse River & lower 
side of Whitety Creek Beg. at an apple tree standing S E from the Mill about 20 
poles & runs N 35 E with Henry GOODMAN dec’d line of HINES survey 160 pole to a 
maple a corner of the same then with another of sd. lines N 17 W 20 poles a black 
jack another of sd. corners then with another of sd. lines N 66 E 174 poles to a 
pine another of sd. corners then N 16 E 35 pole to a pine a corner of SMYTHE & 
GERMANS patent then S 65 W 174 poles to a red oak another of sd. corners then S 
45 W 56 pole to a pine another corner of the same & then to the Beg.
