In Memory 
of Enoch Franks
Son of Enoch & Mary NOBLE
who was born November the 8th, 1845.
And Departed this life August the 23rd, 1846.
age nine months and fifteen days.

As the sweet flowers that unto the morn
But withers in the rising day
Thus lovely was this Infants dream?
Thus swiftly fled its life away.

It died ere its expanding soul
Had ever burnt with wrong desires
Had ever spurned at Heavens controle
Be ever quenched to saved fires.

It died to sin it died to cares
Bit for a moment felt the rod
On moaner such the Lord declares
Such are the children of our God.

Farewell lovely babe Farewell

With us those canst no longer dwell
We hope we long with thee to tell
That Jesus hath done all things well.
