A son of William Gaston Fordham Jr. and Caroline Branch Sutton Fordham, Grover 
was born December 17, 1926. As a child, Grover had a virus that left him deaf 
his entire life. He never married. He died August 1, 2000 and is buried in the 
Colonel John Williams Cemetery.

Grover W. Fordham
Grover Woodrow Fordham, 83, of 1710 Richlands Road, died Tuesday, August 1, 
2000 at Lenoir Memorial Hospital. He was a retired maintenance worker. 
Graveside service will be held at 11am today from the Williams Cemetery in 
Woodington with the Rev. Adrian Grubbs officiating. Survivors include two 
sisters, Cebe Fordham of Kinston and a sister form New York. The family will 
receive friends at the home of a sister, Deep Run.
