Daughter of Caroline Branch Fordham and Williams Gaston Fordham Jr., Mildred 
was born July 3, 1915, married David Williams. They had two sons and two 
daughters. She died July 15, 1992 and is buried in the Colonel John Williams 
Cemetery.
 
Memorial obituary reads:
Mildred F. Williams
Mildred Fordham Williams, 77, of 1708 Richlands Road, died Wednesday. She left 
many that she loved and died peacefully at home. Services will be at 11am 
Saturday from Howard-Carter and Stroud Funeral Home with the Rev. Adrian 
Grubbs officiating. Burial will follow in the Waller family cemetery. 
Survivors include two daughters of Deep Run; one son in Florida and one son in 
Kinston; a brother, Grover Fordham, of Kinston; two sisters, Cebe Fordham, of 
Kinston and one in New York; 14 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren. The 
family will receive friends from 7 to 9 today at Howard-Carter and Stroud 
Funeral Home. Memorials may be made to the Deep Run Free Will Baptist Church 
Organ Fund.
