F. Williams on December 25, 1910 and had 6 children: Fannie Katherine, Edward James, Elbert, Margaret Hazel, Milton Roscoe, and Annie Marie Williams. Tombstone reads: Mother, Mary Elizabeth, wife of B.F. Williams July 15, 1885 Nov. 30, 1944 "The world is better for her having lived." Obit reads: Williams Rites at 4 on Friday From Late Home Mrs. Mary E. Oglesby Williams, 59, wife of Ben F. Williams died about 1 am Thursday in a local hospital after a short illness. Funeral services will be held from the home near Vine Swamp on the Trenton road at 4 pm Friday with Rev. Clifton Rice, Free Will Baptist minister, officiating. Burial will be in the Woodington cemetery. Mrs. Williams was a member of the Woodington Baptist Church. Surviving are her husband, two sons, Ed of Portsmouth, Va, and Roscoe of the home; two daughters, Mrs. A.M. Coston of Silverdale and Marie of Raleigh; two brothers, Alex and Sam Oglesby of Kinston RFD. Mrs. Williams was the mother of Pvt. Elbert WIlliams who died in England March 1 of injuries received in an accident.
