Obit reads:
John C. Wooten
KINSTON. John Council Wooten, 67, retired farmer, died Tuesday. Funeral 3:30 
pm Wednesday. Edwards Funeral Home Chapel, the Revs. L. B. Bunell and Robert 
Raitz. Burial, Woodington Cemetery.

Surviving: his wife, Rosa Lee Wooten; three daughters, Mrs. Annie Lee Moore 
and Mrs. Robert Noble of Kinston and Mrs. Frank Raynor of Four Oaks, Three 
sisters, Mrs. Glen Ketchurn of Jacksonville; Mrs. Sue Griffin of Swansboro and 
Mrs. Ashley jarman of Chalotte. Two brothers: Norman of Maple Hill and Walter 
Wooten of Wilmington; four grandchildren.
