Elmore jelmore@carolinaexpress.net This church is approximately 3.3 miles from the courthouse. To get to this church and cemetery, travel west on Hwy 27 until the junction with Hwy 182. Turn left on this highway and travel 2.1 miles. The church will be on the left side of the road. This is one of the older churches and cemeteries in the county dating back prior to 1840. The cornerstone on the church lists the first church as being built in 1808. There are several weathered stones that could not be read and some graves marked only with field stones.
