    vs.
JAMES HOWARD

Attachment Levied on Land

It appearing to the satisfaction of the Court that JAMES HOWARD, the defendant 
in this case, is not an inhabitant of this State. It is therefore ordered that 
publication be made for six successive weeks in the Charlotte Journal 
notifying said defendant to be and appear at the next term of the Court of 
Pleas & Quarter Sessions to be held for Lincoln County at the Court House at 
Lincolnton on the first Monday of June next, to plead, answer or demur to this 
petition. Otherwise, the property levied upon will be condemned to satisfy the 
Plaintiff's demand. Witness H. CANSLER, Clerk of the said Court at officde on 
the second Monday of the third Monday of February, A. D., 1843.
