STATE OF NORTH CAROLINA    COURT OF PLEAS & QUARTER SESSIONS
LINCOLN COUNTY
Jan. Term, 1814

BENJAMIN ELLIS to the use of WILLIAM HUNSUCKER

        Vs.

WILLIAM LEWIS

Attachment levied 100 acres of land, joining lands of WILLIAM HUNSUCKER, 
WILLIAM FULBRIGHT and others

It appearing to the satisfaction of the Court that the defendant, WILLIAM 
LEWIS, is not an inhabitant of this State. It is therefore ordered by the 
Court that publication be made for three successive weeks in the Raleigh 
Minerva, that unless the said defendant appear  to be held for the  County of 
Lincoln on the third Monday in April next, to make his defense, judgment by 
default  will be taken against him.
