STATE OF NORTH CAROLINA COURT OF PLEAS & QUARTER SESSIONS  LINCOLN COUNTY
Sept. Term, 1843

JOHN MOTZ
   vs.
MICHAEL MAUNEY

Attachment levied on Land

It appearing to the satisfaction of the Court that MICHAEL MAUNEY resides 
beyond the limits of this State, it is therefore ordered that publication be 
made for six successive weeks in the Charlotte Journal notifying the said 
defendant to be and appear at the next term of the Court of Pleas & Quarter 
Sessions to be held at the Court House in Lincolnton on the first Monday in 
December next, to plead answer or demur to this petition filed. Otherwise, 
judgment final will be rendered against him and the lands levied on condemned 
to satisfy the Plaintiff's demands. Witness HENRY CANSLER, Clerk of the said 
Court at  office on the first Monday after the fourth Monday in August, A. D.
1843.
