Records in Office of Secretary of State.] Sir: At a County Court of Pleas and Quarter Sessions, begun and held for the County of Lincoln, on Monday, the Nineteenth Day of April, 1779, Before the Worshipful James Johnston, Thomas Espey, and Robert Alexander, Justices of the County aforesaid. It was ordered by the Court that George Pee, an Inhabitant of the said County, a very Poor, Infirm Man, be Recommended to the General Assembly of this State as a proper Subject to be exempted from the payment of Taxes.
