SARAH RAMSEY
     vs.
JAMES RAMSEY

Petition for Divorce and Alimony

It appearing to the satisfaction of the Court that JAMES RAMSEY, the 
defendant, is not an inhabitant of this State. It is therefore ordered by the 
Court that publication for six successive weeks be made in the Charlotte 
Journal notifying the said defendant to be and appear at our next term of 
Superior Court, to be held for the County of Lincoln at the Court House in 
Lincolnton on the 3rd Monday in February next. Then and there to plead, answer 
or demur to this petition filed, or the judgment will be taken pro confesso 
and the matter heard ex parte as to him. Witness F. A. HOKE, Clerk of the said 
Court at office on the second Monday after the 3rd Monday in August A.D. 1841.
